  17. My best shopping trip was in Publix when i was using the store savings, as well as coupons, and saved $100.00 on my shopping trip with a $300.00 shopping trip...not bad, I am still learning how to do it even better, as I dotn have room to stockpile, or room in freezer/pantry or refridgerator to keep a lot of items, nor can use I doubling coupons, so my savings are not as good as others, but I am trying to do my best and save as much money as i can each time i go shopping.

  41. My best one so far was a few months ago. My local grocery doubles normally, and every month they post "doublers",which will make your $1.00 coupon a $2.00 coupon.

They had their 4C bread crumbs and cheeses on sale. Using coupons and doublers, I did 4 different transactions at 4 different grocery stores. At each store I purchased 4-4C bread crumbs, 4-4C grated cheese and I paid .34 OOP each time. I ended up paying $1.36 for 16 pkgs of bread crumbs and 16 jars of grated cheese...

Sample/Trial size of Secret Clinical Strength deodorant $2.47
Used a $3 coupon I received in the mail that did not list a size restriction.
The deodorant was free plus I had 53 cents to use on the rest of my purchase.

Sample/Trial size of Head & Shoulders shampoo 97 cents.
Used a $2 coupon I receive in the mail that did not list a size restriction.
The shampoo was free plus I had $1.03 to use on the rest of my purchase.

Feline Pine cat litter (this is my favorite & I won't use any other) 7 lbs bag was normally over $3 but was marked down to only $1.50 so I grabbed the last 2 on the shelf.
Used 2 coupons for $1.50 off that I printed from the product website.
14 lbs of cat litter for FREE!

  90. The best coupon I got was actually my very first coupon transaction: I went to Walgreens to buy my husband a Gillette ProGlide razor system. They were on sale for $9.89 and get a $5RR back plus I had a P&G coupon they mailed to me for $5 off, I couldn't beat that deal and now my hubby is smooth for smooches! 91. Hi Amy,

My kids think my best deal is the Easter candy we got 2 weeks ago at Tractor Supply. I was able to buy 4 packs of peeps, robin eggs and peanut butter eggs for 10 cents each. We got 2 grocery bags full for $7.00. My kids love this deal because we use the candy to make our own special ice cream treats. I love this deal because it brings our family together and has created a great family memory with a bonus life skill memory of saving money.

  96. I think my best couponing deals so far are, obviously, the ones you end up with a free product in your hands. But recently I was able to score some blank onesies (for my business) at diapers(dot)com by combining some Pampers Gifts to Grow points, with an online discount code from retailmenot(dot)com, and free shipping! I don't think I could've gotten those onesies THAT cheap had I not researched all the good deals and taken advantage of my Pampers codes.

Happy belated birthday, by the way!

  99. Glucerna had coupons for free boxes of their cereal with a coupon saving up to $3.99 per box. Printed out 10 of these and Walmart had the cereal on sale for $2.50. They honored the coupon up to the max value, so they were basically paying me $1.50 for each box of cereal I received ($15.00 total). These really came in handy because my father is diabetic and uses the Glucerna brand.

Also, I purchased photo postcards on Winkflash. Instead of just purchasing it, I searched and searched for coupons online. I found a gem...40% off of my entire order. I saved so much!

  101. My best purchase is from Walgreens: I bought something on sale with a coupon, paying $6.99 and then got $8 back in RR ($1.01 moneymaker!)...then turned around and bought six boxes of cereal on sale with the RR and coupons and ended up only paying the sales tax! :)

  117. Last week, my husband and I had to run some errands to get my son's medication and grab a few things from the grocery store. The budget was tight, but we thought we would inevitably spend about $50. After the coupons (even one for the prescription medication), we spent $4.14....we were to thankful! Although, I've been able to get things free before (possibly considered better "deals"), but this was the shopping trip that I'm impressed by the most since we were already stretching the dollar so much.

  121. My favorite was the Nivea body wash with the $3/1 coupons. I hadn'd been able to find any at all at any of the stores. Finally, two days before my coupons expired, I spotted 2 bottles at Target. Just as I was about to grab them, I saw a fellow couponer (I'd ran into her several times already). So instead of being greedy I asked her if she wanted one. I was pretty excited about getting one, but I still had 19 coupons to use(Ten of them being my moms). I decided to take my chances on Cape Wal-mart and to my suprise they were fully stocked. I was able to use all of my coupons (Getting them all for free) and give my mom her share also. Getting the items for free was awesome, but I was glad I was able to meet and help a fellow couponer and also help my family. :)

My best couponing tip. Buy a one Sunday paper for every person in your family. Divide and stack each page from each insert so when you cut it is all say in my case 6 exact pages at once. Cuts the time yo spend on cutting in half. Then find a good store ad comparison site like "Blessings In Couponing". Write down the deals you are interested in and then go to the stores and save. :) It starts out as simple as that. Couponing is fun and easy but it just takes time. Commitment helps too. My new motto b/c I have only been doing this for 2 months now is if you don't have a coupon then you can purchase. Has saved me bunches.

  140. Might not sound like much to most couponers. I just started and I live in Alaska, everything is on average $3 more then what it is for my family in SEMO. So it is nearly impossible to get anything free. I always see the senarious of getting things free but I go to the stores here only to find out it's no where near free even with different coupons. I did do realy great on my first time using coupons. I gathered up what coupons I had and decided to see what I do. I ended up with tons of stuff for my Army hubby to use in the field. He is stocked up on baby wipes, disposable razors and tons of bar soap and bodywash. I also stocked him up on chex mix and peanuts. I got about $100 worth of stuff for $25. I didn't get a ton of stuff but still saved a ton of money! I had no clue what I was doing but luckily my cashier did.. she was a major blessing for me!! Now I just need to learn more about the ins and outs of couponing. Everytime I think about that first time couponing and saving $75 I get so excited. I ordered a coupon binder from loadedcouponbook.com Just got it in a couple days ago and got some coupons already in it. Can't wait for my next shopping trip!

I had a $5 off when you buy two L'Oreal hair coloring products from a coupon insert. I stacked that with two Target store coupons for $2 off a box of hair color. This gave me $9 off two boxes of hair color. I bought two boxes of L'Oreal Superior Preference. Target had them on sale for $7.99 each. The best part was that Target was offering a $5 gift card with the purchase of two hair colors. This means that I paid $1 for each box! I also got two cans of the Glade room spray and two 4-packs of glade scented oil candles (all from the new spring collection) for just $3 dollars total after coupons!
