ReplyDeleteRight now my favorite book is The Help. I couldn't put it down. It's been quite awhile since that has happened. Also any of Karen Kingsbury books usually rank right up there.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading the left behind series. brenda.freeland@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI lost my father in Jan 09. I had a friend tell me about "90 Minutes In Heaven." It helped me thru my grieving just in time to go right back thru it because I lost my mother 17 months later. By this time I was really questioning my faith. My friend then referred me to "The Shack." Both books helped me thru some troubling times. Both had powerful messages. pugz4you@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI really like Janet Evanovich's number series about a woman who gets laid off and becomes a bounty hunter. The first book opens with so much humor that I rolled onto the floor because I was laughing so hard. I'm on my 5th or 6th time reading the series and it just gets better and better!! The first scene at Stephanie Plum's mom and dad's house tells about Grandma Mazur shooting the chicken off the plate!! The details are enough to picture it happening.....
