Scotch-a-roos
7 cups of Special K or Total cereal in large mixing bowl (Generic cereal is fine)
*In a sauce pan melt till sugar is disolved, (do not boil):
1 cup sugar
1 cup Karo syrup
turn off heat and stir in :
1 cup Peanut butter
*pour mixture over cereal and fold till evenly covered and pour into a 11 x 13 in dish
Melt :
1 cup Butter Scotch or/ Peanut butter chips
1 cup chocolate chips
*Stir together and spread over cereal mixure. Let set till cooled and cut into squares.

my great aunt makes this exact recipe except with rice krispie cereal. yum!
