RR = Register Rewards

Now some of you are wondering about Register Rewards at Walgreens.

Well, for example: With the Pert Plus deal starting on Sunday 2/$5 - $2.00 RR

You will get the Register Rewards back after you pay. You can use the Register Rewards on your next store purchase BUT you can NOT use register rewards on the same item you received them from.
Example: You cannot use the register rewards to purchase more shampoo. You CAN use the register rewards on other items that produce a register reward. That is how you roll them and get things FREE or pay little.

Just make sure you do not let them expire.

Another thing about using coupons at Walgreens.

Say you are buying 5 items and have a coupon for each item, so you have 5 coupons. Well, you also want to pay the balance with a register reward. You will have to purchase something else(something really cheap) so you will not have more coupons than items. BUT a Walgreen's coupon(like a coupon that is the walgreen's ad) and a manufacturer coupon stack for 1 item is consider 1 coupon. So you can have 5 manufacturer coupons and 5 walgreens coupons for 5 items and be ok unless you add in a register reward then you will need another item.
I usually will buy one of the specials for the week like a pencil 8/$1 and only buy 1 for .12.

Also when buying an item that produces a register reward, well, it will be better if I give an example.
Ok, say toothpaste sale price $2.99 with $2 RR. You want 2 of these toothpaste, then you will have to do 2 transactions to get the RR twice. You cannot buy 2 toothpaste in the same transaction and get $4 RR. You will have to do separate transactions.

I hope this makes sense. It can get confusing. So, when you go to Walgreens have a plan and I would have that plan wrote out on paper!!!

You can contact me if you have questions!
