Our Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center has some great events and classes going on this month!
All of these classes are free unless stated.
11/4 Huntin Camp 5pm - 8pm - celebrate the camaraderie of huntin' camp! Pass on the passion and respect Missourians have for hunting by learning where to hunt, taxidermy tips, primitive hunting skills, wildlife calls, cooking wild game and lots more. No Registration required.
11/10 Natural Basketry - 6pm-9pm Uncover the history of Missouri basketry, learn to identify native plants used for weaving, and try your hand at weaving a basket to take home. This is a beginners course. Bring a clean 5 gallon bucket. Ages 16 & up Registration Required!
11/19 Primitive Homemaking 9am - 4pm - Yearn for the days of yore? Roll up your sleeves and discover how to make homemade candles, soap, and other goodies, just like the pioneers. We'll also prepare and savor old fashioned recipes to enjoy. Women ages 18 & up ( age 14 and up when accompanied by an adult) Registration Required!
These are just FEW of the class going on the month of November. There are LOTS LOTS MORE!
