There are some openings with the Nielsen Home Scan Consumer Panel!    With Nielson Home Scan Consumer Panel you will receive a scanner and scan the barcode on all your purchases. Then you upload them to the Nielsen Consumer Panel website.  I was chosen for this, this past summer.  Then decided I just didn't have time to do it.  BUT for those of you who are interested, it a pretty cool thing to do!

Swagbucks is a search engine like google, you earn swagbucks by searching and you win randomly.  When you win swagbucks you can then redeem the swagbucks for gift cards and other items.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE swagbucks.  I have earned many gift cards in the last 2 years from... amazon cards, O'Charley cards and even Home Depot Cards!


I have had a few question about swagbucks. You really do earn gift cards. I just redeemed (2) $5 amazon cards. When you place the amazon cards into your amazon account, they NEVER expire. You have that amount of money in your account. So is you have a $10.00 cd you are buying and you have $10 in your account, guess what it is paid for!!!



I love swagbucks. You earn them just by downloading swagbucks toolbar and making searches. You won't when on every search but, you will probably win about 30 -50 swagbucks a day. Plus you can do other things on the swagbuck website to earn even more swagbucks.


Some days there are hidden swagbucks that I will try to tell you about and earn even more. It is fun and you know what it is free money!!!

My absolute favorite prize is the Amazon.com gift card. They offer 3 different denominations ($5, $25 and $50. $5 is the best value, followed by $50 and then $25).
You can get 5 of each a month. You are limited to only requesting 2 prizes a day, so to max out on Amazon gift card it takes 7.5 days.


Here’s how it works:


On Swagbucks.com home page, click on Rewards. Then select Swag Store. Then click on Rewards and Gift Cards. Look for the Amazon.com gift cards. Select the one you want and click redeem. You will have to verify your purchase via email.


Swagbucks says they post the gift cards on the 16th and 30th of the month. But that is not always the case. If the date falls on a weekend or there is a holiday, it will be delayed.


When you receive your gift card codes, here is how to add them to your Amazon.com account.
Go to Amazon.com. Click on Your Account in the top right corner.
Look for Gift Cards located in the Payment box.Select this option: Apply a Gift Certificate/Card to Your Account. You will see a box that says “Want to redeem a new gift card?”
Enter the code that Swag Bucks gave you for the gift card and click Redeem Now.
That gift card is now stored in your account as a balance. You can store as many gift cards as you want, it just adds them to the balance.
When you check out, it automatically applies your gift card balance to your order. (You can select for it not to).

Superpoints Invites!

Now if you have signed up for Swagbucks, you will also want to signup for Superpoints! Superpoints will also earn you FREE Gift Cards, but you will not need to search. It is a little different from Swagbucks but you still earn free gift cards!
