Christmas Sugar Cookies are my Family favorte!
ReplyDeleteI love to make cookies. My husband bought me a new convection double stove/oven so that I could bake so many sheets at one time. My favorite to bake is chocolate chip but I use lots of vanilla and my chips are half milk and half semi sweet. I made molasses cookies for the 1st time last month for one of my fair entries. They won 1st place. I went to a pro for her advise. An elderly mennonite lady suggested what molasses to use. I then used a larger grain sparkling sugar to roll them in. I entered 9 cookies and 8 placed.

I am not very good at baking so I love the cookie mixes. I don't have any kids of my own but I do have 2 foster kids in my home. One would rather have just cookie dough and the other one wants them warm from the oven. So I make up the sugar cookies in two bowls one with just butter and water so the oldest can eat just the dough. And one to keep in the fridge so after school he pops a couple cookies in the oven after school. I love the peanut butter ones.
